Located at 2397 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306, Ya Ya Roasted operates as a chinese restaurant serving Staten Island in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Staten Island; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Ya Ya Roasted at (718) 988-9999; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, yayaroasted.com.

Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Staten Island follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I always come here for the 3 meat rice dish π this place is better than Kingβs Kitchen 100% - the roast pork actually has crispy skin and has hoisin sauce, the chicken is smooth, and the cha siu doesnβt have excess fat and is marinated well. Rice also is like a jasmine/glutinous rice blend, very satisfying to eat :^)

Roast Duck β’ The roast duck is fragrant, with perfectly crispy skin and tender meat. The cooking is spot-on, and the slight char on the skin is incredibly satisfying. The flavor is rich but not greasy, with a well-balanced level of seasoning. A highly recommended dish. β’ The duck has crispy skin and juicy meat, with a deep roasted aroma that isnβt heavy or oily. It pairs well with both the dipping sauce and the sweet-and-sour sauce, and the portion size is generous. Stir-Fried Beef Ho Fun β’ This dish has excellent wok hei. The rice noodles are nicely separated without breaking or sticking together; the beef is tender and flavorful. The aroma is strong and authenticβan outstanding example of classic Hong Kongβstyle stir-fried beef ho fun. β’ The rice noodles are smooth, aromatic, and well-fried, and the beef stays tender. The ingredients and seasoning are well balanced, not too oily, making it a very solid version of this classic noodle dish.

Ate hear twice this week, favorites hands down are the clay pot rice with eal & the fish / tofu entree. Also loved their rice rolls, made fresh not frozen. Super clean but owners make you feel like you're in Golden Unicorn but on Staten Island.

Gave this place a try since it's fairly new and we see it every time we go to HL Supermarket. Overall, we had a pretty good first experience. We were greeted as we walked in and sat down. We were provided hot tea right away, and the menu for us to choose. The staff were friendly (extra if you also speak Cantonese/Mandarin) and helped provide the descriptions of the dishes we had questions on. We got the Tiawanese Fried Chicken, which is a classic dish in Taiwan, and honestly, the flavors were pretty good. It was just missing the fried basil to top it off. We also got the Roasted Duck Noodle Soup and that tasted really good. Although the duck they gave us was almost all fat so that was a bummer. Generally, we had a good experience, and we're definitely willing to come back to try the other dishes like the Roasted Pork and the Soup Dumplings.
